The Roof

Preparing the roof for installation. Consideration was given to safety since this roof was high and had a steep pitch.

Scaffold For Safety

Scaffolding was erected to enable the installation crew to work safely on the pitch of this roof and prevent accidents in the narrow walkway at the side of the house.

Removed Vent

Changes were made to the vents on the roof to enable the conduit to be run on the interior of the attic and allow smooth installation of the solar modules.

Solar Modules

The solar modules used in this installation were the Siemens SR100 Powermax single crystalline modules which give excellent performance even in reduced-light or poor weather conditions. Cell surfaces on these modules have Texture Optimized Pyramidal Surface to process more energy from available light.

Inverters Mounted Under Attic Roof

The two Suntie 2500 Inverters were placed on the exterior of the attic under the roof. These Inverters have since been moved inside and will be replaced with the upgraded state-of-the-art Inverters that have the new hardware and software upgrades. Xantrex is offering these to all its Suntie customers, and will be consistent with the balance of this customer's system.
