Solar Arrays

Another "state of the art" grid tie solar energy system came on line in the small township of San Miguel, California. This system utilizes a slope on the customer's property. It was designed using the BP3150B solar modules with four Sunny Boy 240v SWR 2500U SBD Inverters.

Mounting Rails

This customer chose to use the availability of the Two Seas rails for his system. He plans to have the solar modules in sequence of five for each set of rails. A total of 32 rails are set, making the length of the array a little over 82 feet in length.

SMA Sunny Boy Inverters

The SMA Sunny Boy Inverters were mounted on the Two Seas Backplate at the rear of the array, facing north. This will keep the inverters out of the direct sunlight and give them enough of a cool area to operate efficiently.

Solar Arrays

This customer plans to plant some low growing shrubs on the north side of the array but will keep the south side clear of obstacles in order to maintain the efficiency of the solar modules and to prevent shading.
