Racks - Large Array Ground Mounts with SolarMount Rails
SolarMount rails up to 14 feet long accommodate as many as eight 75 W or six 120 W modules, depending on module make and model. The east-west dimension, and therefore the total number of modules, is limited only by available space at the installation site.
Tilt angles can be as high as 55 degrees, depending on wind load requirements.
Each U-LA Mounting System has three subsystems:
- SolarMount Rail Sets to mount the modules and attach them to the supporting pipe structure,
- Truss Sets to connect and provide structureal strength to the pipe support structure, and
- A pipe support structure constructed of installer supplied 2-inch Schedule 40 galvanized pipe or rigid conduit.
All U-LA Mounting Systems are certified by UniRac to meet Uniform Building Code requirements when installed in accordance with UniRac guidelines.
